What is a Busy Brain?

âBusy Brainâ is a term I coined to describe a distinct pattern of neuroinflammation in the brain. This condition is a direct consequence of chronic stress and burnout. Itâs a modern-day epidemic amongst professionals, executives and entrepreneurs around the world - and Iâve observed its manifestations both in my patients, clients and in myself.
My patients often describe âBusy Brainâ as the feeling of being pulled in a dozen directions, unable to focus on one task without getting sidetracked by a million others.

She obtained her medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and the University of Michigan. She previously served as faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she won numerous teaching and research awards.
